Collection: Bamboo Pendant Lights

Handwoven bamboo pendant lights are one of the most searched-for lighting styles among our customers, and it's easy to see why: the open weave filters light into a soft, dappled glow that no printed or moulded shade can fully replicate, while the natural rattan-and-bamboo construction adds texture without adding visual weight.

This collection ranges from classic dome and sphere shapes to the more sculptural "floppy hat" and saucer silhouettes, in diameters from around 25cm up to 60cm, so there's a scale that works whether you're lighting a small breakfast nook or a full dining table. Bamboo and woven rattan pendants suit coastal, boho, Japandi and Scandinavian interiors especially well, and because the material is naturally warm-toned, they pair easily with wood furniture, linen textiles and neutral walls without needing to match anything exactly.

Most fixtures here are hardwired for a permanent ceiling fitting; a handful (noted on the individual product page) are supplied with the connector needed for a standard socket. Because bamboo pendants read as fairly casual and organic, they tend to work best as a single statement piece rather than in a tightly matched pair, though grouping two or three at slightly different heights over a kitchen island is a common way to use them.

If you like the natural-material look but want something with more structure, our wood pendant lights and resin pendant lights collections are worth a look too.
