Staircase Chandelier

A staircase or double-height entryway is one of the few spots in a home where a genuinely large, dramatic light fixture makes sense — there's usually enough vertical drop and viewing distance from multiple floors to appreciate a chandelier that would feel oversized elsewhere. The piece currently in this collection, a spiral amber-glass globe chandelier on a 200cm drop, is sized with exactly that kind of stairwell or hallway in mind.

This is a newer, smaller category for us and one we're adding to. Hardwired chandeliers of this size and weight should always be installed by a qualified electrician who can confirm the ceiling fixing can safely take the load, rather than fitted as a DIY job.

For other statement pieces that can work in a similar entryway or double-height setting, our ceiling lights collection includes other chandelier-style fixtures, and metal pendant lights has larger dome and cage designs that read well at scale too.
