Bamboo Lantern Pendant Shade, 25x40cm

Natural bamboo hand-woven into a tall lantern, 25 cm across and 40 cm high, with a clear, even texture running through the weave. The narrow, tall proportion is what makes it useful: it fills vertical space and reads as a defined object, but it takes up very little width, so it can hang where a wide shade would be in the way.

That makes it a good answer for a dining table in a narrow room, a run along a bar or counter, a stairwell, or a hallway where you want light without obstruction. Bamboo is durable and holds its shape well, which matters in a commercial setting: this is the kind of fitting that works as well in a cafe, a bar, a hotel or a restaurant as it does at home, and hung in a row of three or five along a counter it gives a consistent line of warm light.
