Two sizes with slightly different proportions: 30.5 cm wide by 29 cm tall, almost square, and 41 x 41 cm, exactly so. Both are compact by the standards of woven pendants, which is what makes them useful in rooms where a large basket shade would dominate: a small dining room, a bedroom, a hallway with a normal ceiling.
The round profile is the plainest form a woven shade takes, and here it is left entirely undecorated: no colour, no scallop, no contrasting rim. Everything the fixture has comes from the hand-worked rattan itself, which means the quality of the weave is doing all the work. It is a rustic look rather than a designed one, and it settles into a boho or country room without effort.
Both sizes work singly or in a pair, and the smaller one takes well to a run of three over an island.
