Tapered Fabric Vanity Wall Light

Tapered fabric shades in a warm brown, mounted on a metal wall bar. Fabric on a wall light is less common than glass or metal and considerably more flattering: it diffuses the source completely, so the light reaching a face or a wall is soft and even with no hard shadow edge anywhere.

Three configurations are offered. The single light at 15 by 30 cm works beside a bed, in an alcove or along a hallway. The two-light version at 40 cm wide covers a standard bathroom mirror or a small sideboard. The three-light version at 60 cm is the one for a wide vanity mirror, a long sideboard or a feature wall, and it spreads the light across the full width rather than concentrating it in the middle. All three are 30 cm high, so they sit at a consistent scale whichever you choose.

Bulbs are not included; energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs are recommended and the maximum wattage marked on the fitting should not be exceeded. Keep fabric shades clear of heat and use bulbs that run cool. Mount securely into a suitable wall fixing. Where the fitting is used in a bathroom it must be installed only in a position permitted by the wiring regulations in your country, at a safe distance from a bath or shower, and never where it would be exposed to direct water or spray.
