Outdoor Star LED Tree Lights, 350 LED

Three hundred and fifty LEDs on fine copper wire, arranged as a run of small star points, and rated for outdoor use. Three hundred and fifty is a serious number for a set this length: the density is what makes it work on a tree, where a sparse string disappears into the branches and a dense one turns the whole shape into light.

Three light colours are offered. Cold white is the closest to frost and reads sharpest against a dark garden or a green tree. Warm white is softer and more golden and suits a house front or an indoor tree. Multicolour is the traditional choice and the one children usually want. At 3.5 metres the set covers a medium outdoor tree, a section of hedge, a porch or a run of railing, and several can be used together on a larger tree. Copper wire is fine enough to disappear against branches once the lights are on, so what you see is the points rather than the string.

Rated for outdoor use, but keep the plug, transformer and connectors dry and out of standing water, and use an outdoor-rated socket with residual current protection. Copper wire is fine and will fatigue if bent repeatedly in the same place, so store it loosely coiled rather than folded. Do not leave lights switched on unattended overnight.
