Opal glass, blown rather than pressed, in three silhouettes drawn from mid-century atomic design: a low wide mushroom at 30 x 13 cm, a taller domed form at 28 x 19 cm, and the widest and flattest at 32 x 14 cm. All three are variations on the same idea, the UFO or mushroom shape that defined space-age lighting.
Milk glass is the reason these look expensive. Because the glass is opal all the way through rather than coated on the inside, the bulb never shows as a bright spot; the whole shade lights evenly and glows as a single soft form. That is what gives the fixture its depth, and it is the difference between genuine opal and a white-painted clear shade.
The shapes are period-accurate but the effect is not dated, because the geometry is simple enough to survive the decades. It works over a dining table, in a hallway, or as a pair either side of a bed. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the opal glass. Indoor use. Wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth; opal shows fingerprints less than clear glass does.
