Five sizes, 30 x 26 cm through to 50 x 45 cm, each one slightly deeper as it gets wider so the proportion stays consistent across the range. Each shade is worked string by string by an artisan, and the time that goes into one is the reason no two come out quite the same. The variation is small, but it is visible when you look.
Versatility is the honest selling point. The same shade works in a coastal room, a boho one or a rustic one, and it does the job of a bedside lampshade, a pendant over a kitchen island, a fixture above a dining table or a light in an entry hall. Nothing about the shape or the colour commits it to any of those.
The five-size range means you can use it in more than one of those roles in the same house and still have the fixtures read as a set. Bulbs are not included; energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs of 60 W or less are recommended. Indoor use only, since rattan takes up moisture and loses its shape. Dust with a dry soft brush rather than a damp cloth.
