Gold Radiating Rod Flush Ceiling Light

Brass finished in a shimmering gold, mounted flush to the ceiling, with slender rods radiating outwards from the centre and a single frosted glass globe at the middle. The rods are the design: they draw a starburst on the ceiling that is visible whether the light is on or off, so the fitting is decorative even in daylight.

The frosted globe is what makes it usable. It hides the bulb completely and turns the centre into an even ball of soft light, so there is no bright point to look at from below, which matters in a flush fitting you walk directly underneath. At 40 cm across and only 18 cm deep it works in a room with a normal or low ceiling where a chandelier would be impossible: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom, a study or a small dining room. The gold catches the light along each rod and warms the whole fitting, and it sits particularly well against a white ceiling, where the starburst reads most clearly.

Brass finishes are applied by hand and may vary slightly between pieces, and gold-finished brass will mellow with age. Bulb is not included. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
