Double Origami Bird Arch Pendant

Two folded origami birds set on a symmetrical gold arch, balanced so neither side dominates. Symmetry is the whole design intent here: where the larger pieces in this family are deliberately asymmetric and dramatic, this one is calm, and that makes it the right choice for a space you pass through rather than sit in.

Its natural home is above a console table in an entrance hall, where a balanced fitting reads as deliberate the moment someone walks through the door. It also works over a landing, in a wide corridor, above a sideboard in a dining room or over a small breakfast table. The arch keeps the birds clear of the ceiling so the piece has depth rather than sitting flat, and the folded facets catch light at different angles, giving the fitting a slight animation as you move past it. The gold finish warms the light and sits comfortably with walnut, brass, marble and off-white walls.

Bulb is not included. Where it is hung over a table, allow roughly 75 to 85 cm of clearance above the surface; in a hallway, hang it clear of head height. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
