Two glass domes, one inside the other, in a warm cognac tint. The inner dome sits high and holds the bulb; the outer one hangs below and catches what comes through it. From below you look up into both at once, which gives the fixture a depth a single shade never has, and the cognac tint deepens visibly where the two layers overlap.
It is designed around an exposed bulb, and the recommendation to use an Edison type is worth following. A modern LED with a flat panel inside looks wrong through clear-ish glass; a visible filament, wound in the old style, is what the cognac tint and the double dome are built to frame. Warm-toned filament LEDs give the effect without the heat.
Two drops are offered at the same 25 cm diameter, 33 cm and 43 cm overall, so you can match the fixture to the ceiling rather than adjusting the cord. This is contemporary designer lighting from the Jolly collection, and it suits a kitchen island, a dining table or a bar. Bulb not included. Indoor use. Wipe both domes with a soft dry cloth.
