Firework Copper Wire Fairy Lights, 120 LED

Sixty fine copper wire strands burst outwards from a single point, each one carrying LEDs along its length, so the whole thing reads as a frozen firework rather than a bunch of fairy lights. The copper wire is thin enough to disappear when lit, which is the trick: what you actually see is 120 points of light suspended in mid air with almost nothing visibly holding them there.

Eight lighting modes are built in, running from a steady glow through slow fades to a faster twinkle, so the same set can sit quietly in the background at a dinner or animate a party corner. It is easiest to use inside a large glass vase or a lantern, where the strands can be fanned out and held in place, but it also works pushed into a plant pot, taped behind a headboard or draped along a mantelpiece. Warm white gives a soft candlelit effect; the multicolour version is the better choice for a children's party or a Christmas display.

Copper wire is fine and bends easily but will fatigue if it is bent back and forth repeatedly in the same place. For indoor use only unless the packaging states otherwise. Keep small parts and batteries away from young children and pets.
