Symmetrical Woven Wicker Pendant
The appeal here is symmetry. Most hand-woven shades carry visible irregularities, and that is usually presented as charm; this one is worked to a deliberate regularity instead, with clear lines running evenly around the shade and matching on both sides. If you find the wobble of a rustic weave distracting, this is the version that will not annoy you every time you look up.
That regularity also makes the light more revealing. Because the gaps are consistent, the pattern thrown onto a ceiling repeats cleanly rather than scattering, and more light escapes overall than a randomly worked weave allows. It reads as brighter and more precise, which is why the same shade is specified for restaurants and cafes as often as for homes.
Four sizes are offered, 40 x 18 cm, 50 x 20 cm, 60 x 25 cm and 75 x 35 cm, all shallow relative to their width. The 75 cm is large enough to hold a commercial space or a wide domestic table. It also suits a patio under cover. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the natural wicker. Keep it dry, and dust with a soft brush along the lines of the weave.
