Two versions of the same lamp: a table one at 15 x 61 cm and a floor one at 20 x 155 cm. Both are notably narrow for their height, which is the defining feature. A slim lamp takes almost no floor or desk space, so it fits beside a chair, behind a desk, or in the gap between a sofa and a wall where a wider lamp will not go at all.
The wood base is what stops that narrowness becoming instability. Timber is dense enough to hold a tall, slim lamp upright without a wide foot, so you get the height without the tripod or the weighted disc that most floor lamps need, and the base reads as a small deliberate object at the bottom of the lamp rather than as ballast.
The styling is minimalist and Nordic, which here means the lamp is close to invisible when it is switched off.
