Minimalist Wicker Woven Pendant Shade
Handwoven by village craftsmen using techniques that predate the fixtures they now go into, this is about as simple as a rattan pendant gets. No dye, no shaping beyond the weave, no decorative hardware. The minimalism is not a design conceit; it is what happens when the method is old enough that nothing has been added to it, and it is the reason the shade looks calm rather than styled.
Three sizes cover very different jobs, and they are further apart than most ranges. The 28 x 15 cm is genuinely small, shallow enough for a low ceiling or a run of three over a bar. The 48 x 25 cm is the standard table size. The 65 x 35 cm is large, wide enough to anchor a living room or a long counter on its own.
The material is entirely eco-friendly, which matters more with a fixture you expect to keep for years than with a disposable one. It suits houses, apartments, restaurants and hospitality spaces alike, and the plainness means it will not date out of a scheme. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the fibre. Indoor use only, since rattan takes up moisture and softens. Dust with a dry soft brush rather than a damp cloth.
