Wicker Farmhouse Kitchen Pendant Shade
A handcrafted rattan shade in the plainest farmhouse idiom: no colour, no pattern, no decorative fitting, just the weave. That restraint is what makes it usable in more places than a more designed fixture would be. It works in coastal rooms, boho rooms and rustic ones with equal ease, because it is not committed to any of them, and it does not date the way a strongly styled shade will.
The list of places it suits is genuinely long: as a bedside lampshade hung low, over a kitchen island, above a dining table, in a nursery, in an entry hall, or under a covered patio. The reason is proportion as much as style. It is mid-sized, so it neither disappears in a large room nor crowds a small one, and mid-sized fixtures are the ones that move around a house easily.
Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the natural fibre. If you hang it in a nursery or a child's room, fit it well out of reach and have the wiring done by a qualified electrician. Indoor use, or under a properly covered patio out of the rain, since rattan absorbs moisture. Dust with a dry soft brush.
