The three sizes here scale properly rather than simply getting wider: 40 x 27 cm, 50 x 32 cm and 60 x 40 cm all hold roughly the same proportion of height to width. That sounds like a small thing and it is not. A shade that only grows in diameter looks squat at the large end and stubby at the small one; scaled correctly, all three read as the same object.
The basket weave is dense enough to keep the light largely downward while still allowing a fine pattern out through the sides. That makes it a working fixture rather than a purely decorative one, and it is why the same shade turns up over dining tables, in bedrooms and in living rooms without seeming out of place in any of them.
Each size is available hardwired or plug-in. Bulbs are not included, partly because they travel badly with a woven shade; energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs of 60 W or less are recommended, and a warm 2700K keeps the fibre golden. Indoor use only, since wicker takes up moisture and loses its shape. Dust with a dry soft brush.
