White Hydrangea Metal Ceiling Lamp

Petal shapes cold-cut from metal and assembled into a dense hydrangea head. Cold-cutting keeps every edge crisp, which matters at this level of detail: the petals overlap in layers, and the shadows they cast on each other are as much a part of the piece as the metal itself.

Two silhouettes and three sizes are offered. The cylinder version holds a straight profile and reads as more architectural. The semicircle version is domed and softer, and sits better in a room with rounded furniture. Sizes run 40, 50 and 60 cm across, all around 23 to 26 cm deep, so all six options work under a normal ceiling. The 40 cm suits a bedroom or a hallway; 50 cm a dining table or a mid-sized living room; 60 cm is the main fitting in a larger room. Light escapes between the layered petals rather than through a shade, so the whole piece glows from within and throws a fine floral pattern outwards.

Each petal is cut and set by hand, so slight variation between pieces is normal. Bulbs are not included. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting, which is greater than the delicacy of the design suggests.
