A low, wide rattan drum on a solid wood frame, this pendant leans on retro shapes rather than on ornament. The proportions are the giveaway: at 50 cm across and only 23 cm deep it sits closer to the ceiling than most woven shades, which gives a room the horizontal, mid-century line that a tall teardrop or a globe cannot.
