Yellow Travertine Stone Ceiling Light

Real yellow travertine, cut into a ceiling fitting with the LED built in behind it. Travertine is a natural stone full of fine open pores and mineral banding, and when it is lit from within those markings show through as a warm, cloudy glow that no manufactured material reproduces.

That is the entire reason to choose it. A plain flush light does a job; a travertine one turns the ceiling of an entrance or a hallway into something worth looking at, and the yellow tone gives a warmth that white glass or acrylic cannot. It suits an entryway above all, where it is the first thing seen on arriving, and works equally on a covered balcony, a landing or in a bedroom. Because the LED is integrated there is no bulb to buy and nothing visible to spoil the stone.

Every piece of stone is different, so colour, banding and porosity vary between fittings and no two are identical. Stone is heavy: installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight. For balcony use, fit only in a covered position not exposed to direct rain.
