Lotus Leaf Frosted Glass Ceiling Light

Leaf-shaped panels in frosted glass, arranged across a wide flush frame. Frosted rather than clear glass is the decision that shapes the piece: the light is diffused before it leaves each leaf, so what fills the room is soft and harmonious rather than sharp and refracted, and the leaf shapes read as form rather than as sparkle.

Two colours and three configurations are offered. Clear frosted glass is the neutral and lets the arrangement of the leaves carry the piece. Pink tints the light itself as it passes through, which changes the atmosphere of a room in the evening far more than a painted finish could. Three heads at 80 cm is the lightest and most open version; five heads at the same width fills it more fully and gives considerably more light; six heads at 100 cm is the largest and is the one to choose where this must be the main fitting in a big living or dining room. All are only 26 cm deep, so they work under a normal ceiling.

Glass is frosted and formed individually, so slight variation in shape and tone between leaves is normal. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight and span of the fitting, particularly in the 100 cm version.
