This is a fitting built to the familiar firework or starburst silhouette rather than a licensed reissue of any named designer piece. Fine stainless steel rods radiate from a central point, each one tipped with a small LED, so that switched off it looks like a delicate metal sphere and switched on it becomes a suspended cloud of individual points of light.
Five sizes are offered, which makes it unusually adaptable. The 12-head, 20 cm version is a small accent for a bedside or a hallway; 18 heads at 30 cm suits a compact dining table; 42 heads at 40 cm and 92 heads at 50 cm are the sizes most people choose for a living room or a dining room; and the 162-head, 70 cm version is a genuine centrepiece for a stairwell or a high-ceilinged hall. Each size is available in warm white for a softer, more relaxed light or cool white for a crisper, more contemporary one.
Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. LEDs are integrated and are not user-replaceable. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight of the fitting.
