The shape is a jar: narrow at the neck, swelling through the body, drawing back in towards the base. That is unusual in woven lighting, where most shades are domes, drums or cones, and it changes how the fixture sits in a room. A jar has a waist, so the eye reads it as an object with a form rather than as a shade over a bulb.
Because it is hand-weaved from natural wicker, each one comes out slightly differently: the curve of the body varies, the density shifts, the tone is never quite the same twice. That works in favour of grouping them. Three or four hung at staggered heights read as a collection of related objects rather than as repeated copies, which is a warmer arrangement than matched fixtures give.
It also holds up on its own, over a bedside, in a hallway or above a small table, where the jar profile has enough character to carry the spot alone. Bulb not included; a warm white LED brings out the natural fibre. Indoor use only, since wicker takes up moisture and softens. Dust it with a dry soft brush, working around the curve of the body.
