A plain rattan dome, and the restraint is deliberate. There is no fluting, no scallop and no decorative top: just a hand-woven shade in a clean domed profile that lets the material carry the whole fixture. In a room already full of pattern that is the more useful choice, and it is why the same shade turns up as often over restaurant tables as it does in living rooms.
Because the dome is closed at the top and open at the base, it behaves like a proper dining pendant: most of the light goes straight down onto the table, and only what escapes through the weave lifts the ceiling. That keeps the table bright and the rest of the room soft, which is exactly the split you want over a meal and rarely get from a shade that throws light in every direction.
Three sizes are offered, 40 x 25 cm, 50 x 30 cm and 60 x 35 cm, each in natural or dark rattan and in hardwired or plug-in versions. Match the diameter to roughly half the width of your table and hang the base about 75 cm above it. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the fibre. Indoor use only, and dust with a dry soft brush.
