Milky White Art Glass Ceiling Light

A milky white art glass shade in a shallow ceiling fitting, with the softly rounded profile of a mid-century original. Milk glass is the right material for a fitting you look up at: it hides the source completely and turns the whole shade into an evenly lit disc, so there is no bright point anywhere on it.

Two tones and two sizes are offered. White is the cleaner option and reflects the most light. Creamy yellow is warmer and sits better against older paintwork and natural timber, and it gives a hallway or a bedroom a softer feel at night. Sizes are 38 by 14 cm and 40 by 14 cm, both shallow enough to work under a normal or low ceiling. Every version has a three-colour changing function, so you can switch between warm, neutral and cool from the wall switch, which means one fitting can suit a bright morning kitchen and a quiet evening hallway.

Glass is formed and finished individually, so slight variation in tone is normal. Check that your switch or controller is compatible with the three-colour function before installing. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the fitting should not be installed where it would be exposed to direct water.
