Crystal Chain Chandelier in Amber or Clear

Chains of crystal, large and small, hanging from the curved arms of a gold frame. The chains are what make it: rather than crystals fixed rigidly to the frame, they hang free, so they move very slightly in the air and catch the light from constantly shifting angles.

Two finishes are offered and they produce quite different rooms. Amber crystal warms everything it touches, throwing a honeyed light with deep shadows, and it suits older houses, dark timber and rich colours. Clear crystal is cooler and sharper, refracting the colours already in the room back out at you, and it is closer to a conventional chandelier. Three diameters are available at 40, 50 and 65 cm. The 40 cm suits a bedroom or a hallway; 50 cm a dining table or a mid-sized living room; 65 cm is a centrepiece for a large dining room or an entrance hall.

Crystals are hung by hand, so slight variation is normal, and the larger sizes are heavy. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing and the structure above it must be rated for the full weight of the chandelier, which should be confirmed before work begins. Clean only with the power isolated.
