The texture is applied by hand rather than moulded, which is the whole basis of the piece. A hand-applied plaster surface carries the marks of the tool that spread it, so it reads as raw stone rather than as a smooth cast, and no two shades come out identical. That is the wabi-sabi argument made literally rather than as a description on a label.
The silhouette is a soft asymmetric mushroom, deliberately off-centre rather than perfectly domed. At the small sizes that asymmetry reads as a quiet irregularity; at 60 and 80 cm it becomes the defining feature of the room, and the price step between 50 cm and 60 cm reflects how much more material and hand-finishing the larger ones take.
Five sizes are offered in white or grey. White keeps the plaster reference clear and stays quiet; grey pushes it towards concrete and reads harder. The 30 and 40 cm suit a kitchen island in a row; the 80 cm is a single feature for a double-height space. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits plaster. Indoor use. Dust with a dry soft brush; a damp cloth will mark the texture.
