Rattan Wicker Pendant Lampshade
All four sizes are equal-sided, 35 x 35 cm through to 60 x 60 cm, so the shade keeps the same cubic proportion whichever you pick. That consistency is the reason to buy across the range: three of these at different diameters over a stepped counter or in a stairwell read as one family, which mixed proportions never quite manage to do.
An equal-sided shade splits its light roughly evenly between downward and sideways. Over a dining table that gives you a defined pool on the surface and enough spill to keep faces lit rather than shadowed, which is the practical difference between a fixture people enjoy eating under and one they end up replacing after a year. It is a more forgiving distribution than a deep shade gives.
The wicker weave is worked closely enough to hold its shape without a heavy frame. Bulbs are not included, since a woven shade travels badly with one fitted; energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs of 60 W or less are recommended. Indoor use only, since rattan takes up moisture and softens. Dust with a dry soft brush and keep it clear of steam.
