Bohemian Rattan Patio Pendant Light

A bohemian shade proportioned for a patio: wider than it is deep at every size, so it sits low and broad rather than hanging as a column. Outdoors, under a pergola or a covered terrace, that shape matters, because a deep shade traps the light where a shallow one lets it spread across a table and the seating around it.

The weaving is intricate rather than plain, worked closely enough that the shade holds a defined edge and reads as a finished object rather than as a basket. That density also softens the light, which is what gives the rustic elegance the material is bought for. In the evening the pattern prints outward across a wall or a pergola beam, and the whole seating area picks up the texture.

Three sizes are offered, 35 x 25 cm, 45 x 35 cm and 50 x 40 cm. Use the smallest in a run along a covered walkway, the larger sizes over a table. It works equally well indoors in a dining room or a living room. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the fibre. Keep it under cover and out of direct rain, and dust it with a dry soft brush.
