Slim Oval Tube Pendant Light

A slim metal tube, 9 cm across, in four lengths from 40 cm up to a full metre. At this width the fitting reads as a drawn vertical line rather than an object, which is what makes it work in numbers: several hung together become a composition, where several conventional pendants would become clutter.

Length is the decision that matters. At 40 cm it is a compact accent for a bedside or a hallway. At 60 cm it hangs properly over a dining table. At 80 cm and 100 cm it fills serious vertical space, which is exactly what a stairwell, a double-height hallway or a low-hung position over an island needs. Mixing lengths in a group of three or five, staggered, is how this design does its best work. Two finishes are offered: black, which draws a hard graphic line against a pale ceiling, and gold, which warms the light and catches it along the tube.

Bulb is not included. Because the beam is narrow and directional, these are accent and task fittings rather than room lights, and are best used in numbers or over a specific surface. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and each ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight it carries.
