Nordic Resin Nightstand Table Lamp

Four colours and none of them neutral: pink, white, red and blue. That is a deliberate range rather than a hedged one, and it tells you what the lamp is for. This is not a fixture meant to disappear into a bedroom; it is meant to be the one coloured object on the nightstand, which is why it is listed for a child's room as well as an adult bedroom.

Resin is the material and it is the right one at this size and price. It takes colour evenly all the way through rather than as a surface coating, so a chip does not reveal a different colour underneath, and it does not shatter, which matters a great deal on a bedside table or anywhere within reach of a child.

At 26 x 40 cm it is a proper bedside lamp rather than a small accent, tall enough to light a book and compact enough not to take over the whole nightstand. Bulbs are not included. Indoor use; in a child's room, place it out of reach and use an LED so the resin stays cool. Wipe with a soft dry cloth, avoiding abrasives.
