A fixture that offers you fifteen variations is not really minimalist, whatever the description says; this one commits to a single form.
That form is a shallow glass shade, wider than it is deep at both sizes, which spreads light rather than concentrating it into a pool. The glass is left plain and untinted, so the fixture is close to invisible during the day and the shape only really asserts itself when the light is on and the shade takes on a glow of its own.
Nordic design has lasted because it does not chase anything, and this is a straightforward example: stylish now and unlikely to look wrong in ten years.
