Paper Crane Origami Bird Pendant Light

Folded paper cranes rendered in metal with clean geometric lines, perched on a frame so the birds appear to have landed rather than been arranged. Origami is a difficult thing to translate into metal without it turning clumsy; the trick here is keeping every fold crisp and every surface flat, so the facets catch light at different angles the way folded paper does.

Six configurations are offered, which is an unusually wide range for one design. A single bird comes on a circular or a square base, and the choice is purely about which geometry suits the room. Two, three, four and five bird versions add birds along the frame, scaling from a bedside or hallway accent up to a full centrepiece over a dining table or a kitchen island. Building up through the range is how most people use it: a single bird in a study, three over a table, five in a room that needs a proper feature. The gold and white finish keeps it light and warm rather than heavy.

Bulbs are not included. Over a table, allow roughly 75 to 85 cm of clearance above the surface. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight and span in the larger configurations.
