Brown Resin Oval Moon Pendant

An oval rather than a sphere, wider than it is tall at every size, which is what makes the moon comparison work: a full moon low on the horizon appears flattened, and this shape reproduces that rather than the perfect circle a globe pendant gives you. It is a specific reference rather than a general gesture at something round.

Four sizes are offered, 30 x 20 cm through to 60 x 35 cm, each hardwired or plug-in at the same price. The maker suggests two uses and both hold up: a single large one as a standalone statement over a table, or three of the smaller ones suspended in a row over a kitchen counter or island, where the repeated oval reads as deliberate rather than accidental.

The brown resin is warm rather than neutral and takes colour through the body, so the surface is consistent and a knock does not show a different tone underneath. It suits Japanese, Japandi and Nordic rooms, where the reference is understood without being explained. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the resin. Indoor use. Wipe with a soft dry cloth, avoiding abrasives on the finish.
