Two-Tone Metal Dome Pendant Light

A single metal dome finished in two tones, with the outer shade in one colour and the interior in another. The inside finish is the part that changes the room: light reflects off it before it reaches the table, so a brass or shiny brass interior warms everything below while a white or chrome one keeps it clean and bright.

Eight combinations are offered. Brass paired with sea grey, soft black, rose dust, white or shiny brass covers the warm end; chrome with black, white or chrome covers the cool end. Three diameters are available at 28, 34 and 38 cm. The 28 cm suits a bedside, a hallway or a row of three over a kitchen island; 34 cm works over a breakfast table or in a pair over an island; 38 cm is the single fitting over a dining table. Semi-matt exteriors are the ones that hide fingerprints and dust best, which matters over a cooking area.

Finishes are applied by hand and may vary slightly between pieces. Bulb is not included; because the dome is open at the bottom, a frosted bulb is more comfortable to sit beneath than a clear one. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
