Nordic Balcony Ceiling Lamp, 30cm
A compact ceiling fitting, 30 cm across and 27 cm deep, made with sustainable materials and designed around an energy-efficient bulb. It is a plain, well-proportioned lamp rather than a decorative one, and the case for it is practical: it costs less to run than a comparable fitting and it is built to last rather than to be replaced.
Two finishes are offered. Black gives a clear graphic outline against a white ceiling and suits a modern or industrial room. White lets the fitting recede almost entirely, which is usually the better choice in a small space where you do not want the ceiling drawing attention. The proportions suit exactly the rooms it is named for: a balcony, a small bedroom, a hallway, a utility room or a study, where a large fitting would be out of scale and a bare downlight would add nothing. It also works as a repeat fitting through several small rooms in a house.
For balcony or porch use, fit only in a covered position that is not exposed to direct rain. Intended for indoor and sheltered use only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
