Cylinder Ceiling Fan with 3-Colour Light
A cylinder rather than a disc, which is unusual for a fan-light and worth noticing. The body is straight-sided and closed, so from below there is no visible motor housing and no ring of blades under a plate. It reads as a plain cylindrical pendant that happens to move air, which is about as discreet as a ceiling fan gets, and the reason to choose it.
Running silently is the claim, and it comes from a powerful built-in motor running well below its limit rather than a small one working hard. That is the difference in a bedroom: a fan you can hear at the low setting is one that gets switched off, and a fan you cannot hear is one that stays on all night.
Three-colour dimming lets the same fixture give bright light for the room, a relaxing warm tone in the evening, and something in between. Three finishes are offered at the same price: black, white, and white with yellow. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight and movement of a fan. Indoor use only; wipe dry and check the fixings periodically.
