A bell shape in resin finished to look like unglazed ceramic, which is the combination that lets it sit properly in a Japandi room. Japandi is Japanese restraint applied to Scandinavian warmth, and it works only when the materials look natural and the forms stay simple; a shiny or obviously moulded shade would break the effect immediately.
The earthy tones do most of that work. Brown reads as terracotta or unfired clay and warms a pale room; grey reads as stone and keeps it cooler and more architectural. Neither is a strong colour, which is deliberate: the point of this style is a calm, harmonious room rather than a focal point in the middle of it.
Two sizes are offered, 35 cm and 45 cm. The smaller works in a pair or a row over a counter; the larger is a single fixture over a table. Both suit Japandi, wabi-sabi and Nordic interiors, and they sit comfortably alongside timber, linen and unpainted plaster without competing with any of them. Bulb not included; a warm white LED suits the earthy tones. Indoor use. Wipe with a soft dry cloth, avoiding abrasives.
