Modern Handwoven Rattan Lampshade
Three diameters, 40, 50 and 60 cm, and the same shade at each. The steps are wide enough to matter: 40 cm is a hallway or bedside size, 50 cm the standard over a table for four, and 60 cm a living-room feature. If you are unsure which to pick, measure the surface it will hang over and take roughly half its width.
The weave is handworked and left in natural rattan with no dye or applied finish, which keeps the fixture modern rather than rustic. A shade with visible colour or a decorative rim commits a room to a style; a plain natural one adds warmth and texture and then stays out of the way, which is why it reads as contemporary despite the traditional material.
It is intended for indoor living rooms and dining rooms, and every size comes hardwired or plug-in, so it fits a fixed ceiling rose or a rented flat equally. Bulb not included; a warm white LED brings out the fibre. Keep it out of damp rooms, since rattan absorbs moisture and will lose its shape. Dust with a dry soft brush.
