Luminous origami birds perched along radiant brass bars, arranged so the flock appears to be settling rather than posed. The birds are lit from within rather than lit from outside, which is the detail that makes the whole idea work: each one glows softly along its folded facets, so what you see is a group of illuminated forms rather than a chandelier with visible bulbs.
Two arrangements are offered, A and B, differing in how the birds are distributed along the bars. The choice is really about how the room is used and where the fitting will be seen from: one arrangement reads better from directly below, the other from along its length. Both belong over a dining table, a kitchen island or in a living room where the ceiling is the one surface with nothing else happening on it. The brass warms the light and sits comfortably with walnut, marble, deep green and off-white walls.
Over a table, allow roughly 75 to 85 cm of clearance above the surface so the birds sit just above eye level, which is where the folded detail can actually be seen. Light sources are integrated into the birds. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight and span of the fitting.
