Low Profile Solid Wood Hugger Fan
A hugger fan mounts flush against the ceiling rather than hanging from a downrod, and the reason to choose one is headroom. In a room with a standard or low ceiling, a downrod fan drops the blades down into the space and dominates it; a flush-mounted one keeps the ceiling line clean and the blades safely out of the way of anyone standing beneath it.
