Grey Petal Flush Mount Ceiling Light

Matte grey petals arranged around a central point and mounted flush to the ceiling. Grey is an unusual choice for a petal fitting, and it is the right one: it takes what could easily be a floral, decorative piece and makes it urban and restrained, so it works in a room where a white or coloured version would be too soft.

Four configurations are offered and they scale in a useful way. One light is a small accent for a hallway, a landing or a bedside, and looks good in a run of two or three along a corridor. Four lights covers a bedroom or a smaller dining room. Six lights is the everyday choice for a living room or a dining table. Eight lights has the spread for a large room. Because the fitting sits flush, every configuration works in a room with a standard or low ceiling, which is the practical advantage over an equivalent chandelier. The matte finish absorbs rather than reflects, so the petals read as solid forms and the light comes from between them.

Bulbs are not included. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting in the larger configurations.
