Thousands of hand-bundled grass tassels hang from a simple round frame, and the result is a pendant with a genuinely soft outline: no hard rim, no flat underside, just a shaggy fringe that moves slightly when a door opens. It is a deliberately tactile fixture, closer to a textile than to a lamp, and it does most of the decorating in a plain room on its own.
Light filters down between the fibres rather than through a single opening, so the floor below gets a dappled, broken glow instead of a defined circle, and the walls pick up long soft shadows. The effect is closest to sunlight coming through a palm roof, which is the reference the shape is reaching for. Turn it on with a warm bulb and the natural grass goes a deep straw colour.
Five sizes are offered, from 40 x 30 cm up to 80 x 35 cm, each in a hardwired or plug-in version, so it fits a permanent ceiling point or a rented room. The larger sizes suit a stairwell, a double-height corner or a wide dining table; the smaller ones work over a breakfast bar or beside a bed. Indoor use only. Shake or brush the tassels gently to keep them full, and do not use a damp cloth.
