Candy Colour Gooseneck Globe Chandelier

Hand-blown glass globes in nostalgic candy colours, carried on arched gooseneck arms. It is the same well-proportioned bistro frame that the neutral versions of this design use, but the colour changes its character completely: instead of quiet and classical it becomes cheerful and clearly of the 1950s and 60s.

Four colours are offered. White is the neutral, and lets the arms do the work. Beige is soft and warm and behaves almost like a neutral in a room with natural timber. Pink and orange are the confident choices, and because glass transmits colour rather than reflecting it, they tint the light itself rather than just the fitting, which gives a room a genuinely different atmosphere in the evening. Each colour comes with three heads or five. Three suits a bedroom, a hallway or a smaller dining table; five has the spread for a full dining table or a living room, and is where the design looks most deliberate.

Glass is hand-blown, so slight variation in shape, thickness and tone between globes is normal. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight of the chandelier.
