Hand-blown glass globes on arched gooseneck arms in an antique brass finish, this chandelier borrows directly from the lighting of a Parisian bistro and keeps the proportions that made those fittings work. The arms sweep out and then turn down, so each globe hangs level rather than pointing sideways, which is the small structural detail that separates a well-drawn gooseneck fitting from an awkward one.
Globes are offered in soft white or a warmer cream. White is cleaner and reads modern against pale walls; cream is warmer and better suited to a room with older paintwork, natural timber or brass elsewhere in it. Both come with three heads or five. Three suits a bedroom, a hallway or a smaller dining table; five has the spread for a full dining table or a living room. Because the light source is divided between several diffused globes rather than concentrated in one shade, the result is even and soft with very few hard shadows, which is exactly what you want over a table where people sit for hours.
Glass is hand-blown, so slight variation in shape, thickness and tone between globes is normal. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the full weight of the chandelier.
