A glass balloon pressed against the ceiling as though it has drifted up and settled there, with a minimalist silhouette and no decoration of any kind. Glass rather than acrylic is what lifts this above the usual nursery fitting: the surface has real depth, the colour is in the material rather than painted on, and it will still look right in the same room a decade from now.
Ten finishes are offered across five colours and two surfaces. The matte options, in yellow, pink, red, amber and milk white, are softer and diffuse the light more, which suits a nursery or a bedroom. The glossy options, in milk white, pink, blue, yellow and red, are brighter and more reflective and read as more playful, which suits a playroom or an older child's room. Three diameters are available at 25, 30 and 35 cm: the smallest works in a group of three or five across a ceiling, the 30 cm as the main light in a child's bedroom, and the 35 cm in a larger or shared room.
Glass is formed and finished individually, so slight variation in tone is normal. This is a light fitting, not a toy, and it must be mounted securely out of reach. Bulb is not included. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
