Minimalist 3-Light Glass Table Lamp

Three lights in one table lamp is unusual and it changes what the lamp can actually do. A single-source table lamp gives you one pool of light and one hard shadow; three sources at slightly different positions overlap and fill in each other's shadows, so what lands on a desk or a bedside is even rather than directional. It is a working difference, not a decorative one.

The design is minimalist in the useful sense: glass and metal, no ornament, and a narrow 23 cm footprint against a 46 cm height, so it takes up very little of a surface for the amount of light it puts out. That matters on a desk or a nightstand more than it does anywhere else in a house, where surface space is genuinely scarce.

Three colours are offered at the same price. White is the neutral; red and green are proper colour choices and turn the lamp into the only strong element in an otherwise plain room, which is why the same lamp is listed for a child's room as well as for a home office. Bulbs are not included. Indoor use; in a child's room, place it out of reach. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft dry cloth.
