Six opal glass globes are carried on sweeping gooseneck arms in a brushed gold finish, arranged asymmetrically so the piece has a sense of movement rather than symmetry. It is a fitting that reads as architecture as much as lighting, and it is designed to be seen from every side, which makes it a good choice for an open-plan room or a space with a double-height ceiling.
The opal glass is the part that does the practical work. It diffuses the light into a soft, even glow with no visible filament and no glare, so the chandelier can sit above a dining table or a living room seating group without being uncomfortable to look at.
