Marshmallow Glass Wall Sconce

Soft rounded glass shades on a gold frame, in the plump marshmallow form that gives the fitting its name. The shape is deliberately friendly rather than sharp, and paired with the gold it lands somewhere between timeless glamour and something rather more playful, which is a harder balance to strike than it looks.

Three colours are offered. Pink is the most characterful and the one the design was built around, warming the light and reading as a clear decorative choice. Beige is softer and more neutral, and works where the fitting should sit quietly. White is the cleanest and lets the gold frame do the talking. Mounted in a pair either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace the sconce reads as deliberate and balanced; along a hallway in a run of three it gives a corridor rhythm without taking up any floor space. Matching pieces are available in the same family, so a room can be fitted out consistently.

Glass is formed and tinted individually, so slight variation in tone is normal. Bulbs are not included. Mount securely into a suitable wall fixing. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and where the fitting is used near a bathroom it must be installed only in a position permitted by the wiring regulations in your country.
