Japanese Rattan Woven Pendant Shade
Sixteen variants from one design: four diameters between 30 and 60 cm, two finishes, and hardwired or plug-in on every combination. That is more configuration than most woven pendants offer, and it means you can specify exactly what a room needs rather than compromising on one of the three. Price rises with diameter only, so the finish and the wiring cost nothing extra.
The wicker shade itself is deliberately unremarkable, and that is the point. It incorporates into traditional and contemporary decors alike because it makes no argument of its own; it adds texture and warmth to a bedroom, a kitchen island, a dining table or an entry without setting a style the rest of the room then has to follow.
Black reads minimalist and modern against pale walls; natural rattan reads warm and relaxed. Both carry the same Japanese-influenced simplicity in the weave, so the choice is about the room rather than about the design. Bulbs are not included; use energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs of 60 W or less. Indoor use only, since rattan takes up moisture and softens. Dust with a dry soft brush, more often on the black finish than on the natural.
